Widgit Community – Spreading Festive Cheer to Families in Need

As the festive season approaches, many families face the challenge of making ends meet, let alone planning a special meal with loved ones or giving gifts. At Widgit, we believe in supporting our community in any way we can, especially during times of need. This November, we were proud to work with Child Friendly Warwickshire in doing just that, donating £1500 worth of toys and games to help make just a few dreams a reality.

In addition, we were delighted to donate another £1500 to Helping Hands Warwickshire, supporting their ‘House to Home’ project designed to help individuals and families build a new life from scratch. From start-up kits to homely essentials, these much-needed supplies were delivered directly by our team, and gratefully received during this busy time for families on the move.

We’re committed to making a positive impact on our local community, and we’re proud to support these incredible charities working to make the lives of families that little bit brighter – both during the holiday period and all year round. From shopping for gifts to bagging them up and delivering them to our chosen charities, a great big thank you to all our Widgiteers who got involved in making these donations a reality.

With further plans to volunteer for causes close to our heart – both as a company and as individuals – we can’t wait see what the new year holds, as we continue to work with our community to champion safe and inclusive environments for all individuals of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
