The first two of the series are based on the work of Clinical Psychologist, Jo Douglas, who developed similar tests whilst working at Great Ormond Street Hospital in the 1980's. They have been updated in line with current practice with help and advice from Justin Drew, Children's Speech and Language Therapist from Sandwell and West Midlands NHS Trust, who also devised the Expressive Language screening tool.
