The packs are available in seven languages (Arabic, Kurdish Sorani, Polish, Punjabi, Romanian, Ukrainian and Urdu).

The Widgit Online New to English Vocabulary Packs are particularly complex, script-based languages that require a high level of detail and cultural understanding. As a result, machine translation is often not up to the required quality, and the time and effort needed to refine these automated translations to a high standard can exceed the time needed for translating directly from scratch.

To uphold Widgit's quality standards for translations, we've partnered with Comtec, who ensure that each pack is localised by native-speaking linguists with specialised expertise. Provided with essential context and reference materials, they deliver translations that are both accurate and culturally appropriate, enabling nuanced language that truly supports learners and ensures a seamless experience, regardless of their native language.

The packs comprise a number of symbolised, dual language resources covering emotions, classroom vocabulary, routines, new arrival help cards, friendship support and general vocabulary.
