The Phonics Pack includes a variety of resources to complement Phonics teaching and learning. The teaching of Phonics involves learning the relationship between the sounds of the spoken language and the letters of the written language, and the materials within this pack can be used to support this approach.
What's included...
Resources to Support Progression
Use resources as part of daily, discrete Phonics lessons or dip in and out to support intervention sessions.
Games
Promote learning through play with practical activities and games such as bingo and dominoes.
Rhyme
Develop understanding using engaging display materials and fun activities.
Spelling
Help learners to apply phonological skills to spelling tasks for each taught grapheme.
Phase 1
Encourage a good understanding of Early Phonics and promote listening skills using an engaging selection of Phase 1 teaching materials, games and activities.
