Symbols help assess success for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital
Royal Manchester Children's Hospital required an symbol supported assessment tool to enable information to be accessible to all patients and service users...
I work for Manchester Children's Hospital and lead the hospital-wide Autism and learning disability agenda.
Widgit helped us to create a person centred reasonable adjustment assessment tool which helps meet the need of our patients and families through pictorial information.
One of our biggest challenges is that we require a large amount of information to be accessible for all of our patients and service users. We chose symbols as a means of doing this as they were highlighted as a solution at a stakeholder event.
Widgit helped us to create a person centred reasonable adjustment assessment tool which helps meet the need of our patients and families through pictorial information.
We find Widgit to be extremely efficient and they have produced a high quality product which looks very professional.
This was not a long process and we would definitely recommend working with them. Thanks for all your help and hard work Widgit!
