Solution

Most Android tablets come with a Text-to-speech voice that can be used with many different apps. The settings for this speech voice will be the same across all your apps.

Widgit Go is designed to find and use the default Text-to-speech settings that have been configured for your device. If you do not have a voice installed by default no sound will be displayed when you try and use this feature.

There are a wide variety of high quality speech engines available to download from the Google Play store, such as:

Acapela TTS Voices on the Play Store

Vocalizer TTS Voice (English)

Once you have one of these installed on your device you will be able to use the Text-to-Speech feature of Widgit Go.
